Agritomsa is located in a favourable setting for the growing of crops in nurseries. It is situated in the middle of a valley, the "Baixo Miño", which is surrounded by mountains and divided by the river Miño. The weather of this region is excellent for growing plants, both in containers and in the ground.
The weather of the area is characterised by mild summers, with temperatures of up to 30ºC. During the winter the temperatures reach occasionally a minimum of 5ºC. The average temperature is 12ºC, and there is heavy rainfall, so the supply of water in all the region is assured during the whole year.
Another element which makes the "Baixo Miño" area an excellent setting for our company is its soil. Its granite source together with the abundance of rainfall makes the water used for irrigation of an extraordinary quality.
